Parent or Legal Guardian must contact the Detention Center (740) 695-9750 after 11 a.m. on Friday to ensure there is available bed space for the weekend; this is to take place for every reporting weekend.

Unless a different time has been arranged by Detention Center staff, the time that the youth reports on Friday, is the time the youth will be released on Sunday. Photo Identification is required for release.

If the adjudicated youth is on prescription medication, the medication is to be brought upon intake in the original bottle, with a current pharmacy label. Name, fill date, dose and quantity are required. Please bring medications in full, do not tailor the count to meet the length of stay.

Adjudicated youth are not permitted any personal items during their stay; therefore it is recommended that personal belongings are not brought to the Detention Center. These items include but are not limited to: Cell Phones, Jewelry, Money, Book Bags, Purses, Hats, Extra Clothing of any kind, Books, I-pads/I-pods etc.

Additionally, as part of the safety and security of the intake process, any make-up, artificial fingernails, toe and nail polish, piercings, and hair extensions will be removed from the youth. This will happen every weekend, so please plan accordingly.
